Job Lists - Email Groups
Yahoo Account/Signup is generally required – once you have a Yahoo account you can use or link your regular email address – this gives you full access to the message group web site.
Black Ice Security is contracted by many of the larger PMC/PSC companies and firms to provide live resumes for employment (resumes are sent by you direct to the company). It is important, however, to carefully read the instructions below to receive the best possible chance of employment. (See: Tips to successful job replies)
To receive job notices, you must join one of the email groups below.
Black Ice Tier II Group:
If you desire nationwide or international overseas work and you are not a special forces or special operations person, please sign up for the Black Ice Tier II Group. This email group is for all Non-SOF military, intelligence, law enforcement (Local/State/Fed), and for professional security personnel that desire to be informed of job related information. It is also for other high risk professionals in construction and logistics trades looking for overseas work. Note: Nearly 98% of all emails sent from Black Ice end up on this list.
Black Ice SOF Group ***
This email group is for special operations personnel and is restricted to SEALs, Army Special Forces (SF), Army RANGER, Marine RECON (ARS grads), MARSOC, USAF CCT & PJ's.
*** NOTE: You must add a brief BIO in the body of the form to provide your SOF background, such as training schools and unit affiliation. NOTE: Anyone caught providing FALSE information will be banned from these groups and may be reported to the lists as a fraud.
Black Ice Disaster Support Group List [Black Ice DSG]:
The Black Ice Disaster Support Group List is for anyone interested in notification of disaster and disaster recovery related work.
Black Ice Security Services (BISS) Group List:
The BISS-Group is for LOCAL DC METRO AREA private investigators, protection and security officers who live and work in Northern Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Armed and unarmed security and investigative personnel interested in full and part time local work with Black Ice, should sign up for the BISS-Group.
TIPS to successful job replies:
Prepare your RESUME (PDF or Word format).
Have your resume available to transmit immediately upon receipt of a job announcement message. NOTE: Many positions are filled within hours of the message being sent.
Ensure you have READ the entire message and are sending your application in the correct manner and to the correct person.
Please DO NOT send a message back to Black Ice unless the message specifically says to do so.
Make sure that you are QUALIFIED for the position. If you consistently apply for positions that you are not qualified for or you misrepresent yourself, this could be grounds for removal from the list.
FORWARDING messages to other people is encouraged; but it is recommended that you have your contacts sign up directly to the group in order to receive a timely message. The procedures for subscribing and unsubscribing are at the bottom of every email.
Good luck and thank you for being on the Black Ice email groups!
