What is DCJS?

Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is the regulatory body for Virginia's private security industry. All companies properly licensed to provide investigations, private security or other security services in Virginia are assigned a DCJS number; Black Ice Security's number is 11-2625.

Before you hire a security agency in Virginia you should ensure that they are in good standing with DCJS and have a current license to operate in Virginia.
