Folks,

I this is my first Blog post… wait for it… applause, thank you very much.  While I was quick in the social networking bandwagon with Yahoo Groups around 2001 and LinkedIn several years ago, I have managed to be a bit slow with most other forms.  I have a Facebook account but only a few family members are allowed on that. I have never to date Tweeted… nor have a Twitter account… that one if short lived will pass me by otherwise I may get around to it if I find a use.

Blogging seems to be a proper environment for me however… and sadly I have waited this long… but here we go, crawl, walk, run, swim… fly… I still plan on being a pilot one day.  I have about 3 hours of stick time in a Cessna 150 when I was about 17 years old… and about 45minutes flying a Navy Helicopter at age 20 plus a few hundred parachute jumps static and Freefall from various types of flying machines… not quite flying.

I have just launched a new program called CHATTER via my Black Ice Groups and on LinkedIn.  I have partnered with Mike Faessler, President of Oversight Risk Management to help launch his GIS based Situational Risk Management program.  I am expecting great things from this relationship, the program and my group’s ability to light that thing on fire… I am excited to say the least. 

My expectation is that every security and risk Management Company, government agency, and the military will want to participate overseas in all the hotspots.  I also believe it will catch on fire here in the states with law enforcement, private security and disaster management folks as it will be an excellent tool for them to communicate in the same space and to react in an incident.

All for now, just wanted to get a proper note on this blank Blog…
